On Tuesday a magnitude 5.6 earthquake rattled the island nation of Taiwan. The quake was centered along the eastern central coast 90 miles south of Taipei. In 1999 a 7.6 quake killed 2,300 people which centered in the central region of the country.
The Savannah Channel obtained this text message which was an exchange shortly before, during and after the earthquake
